Our Southeast Michigan office got its start in January 1997, when Warner opened an office in Southfield to serve existing clients with operations in Metro Detroit. Today, our Southeast Michigan presence has grown to more than 40 attorneys and 20 supporting staff members who are dedicated to bringing superior legal counsel and representation to clients across a diverse spectrum of industries and practices, such as: aerospace and defense, automotive, cannabis, family law and divorce, financial services, funds and investment services, government services, real estate development, mergers and acquisitions, supply chain, litigation, environmental law, tax law, health care, trusts and estates, economic incentives and much more.

In April 2021, Warner opened a new location in the heart of District Detroit expanding our statewide footprint to include nine strategically located offices. As a premier Michigan law firm, we felt it was important for Warner to be prominently positioned in the state's largest city and support its ongoing resurgence. Warner is the only major Michigan law firm with established offices in Wayne, Oakland and Macomb counties, demonstrating our commitment to be where our clients live, work and play. Detroit has experienced renewed optimism and economic activity over the past decade – with an array of entertainment, sporting and recreational activities bursting at the seams. The Lions, Red Wings, Tigers and Pistons draw spectators to stadiums, ice arenas, fields and courts. The city’s diverse musical heritage is ever present, from classical to opera and from jazz to rock and roll. With the second largest theatre district in the country, counting 13,000 theatre seats in a two-block radius of downtown, there is something for everyone to enjoy! Museums, parks, restaurants and a zoo provide family-friendly activities to make beautiful memories. At Warner, we put our clients at the center of every decision we make, and we knew they want us to be in Detroit. As soon as we’re all able to safely return to our offices, we welcome you to use our convenient parking located behind our building and adjacent to Little Caesars Arena, private conference rooms, meeting spaces, guest workstations and other available amenities.
