Focusing on transactional matters, Andrew Reside is a corporate and real estate attorney, primarily serving Michigan-based clients, including many automotive industry organizations in the Detroit and Grand Rapids metro areas. Andrew regularly assists businesses with entity formation, drafting organizational, definitive and M&amp;A documents, conducting contract review and advising on key contract provisions. He finds it gratifying to get involved in a matter or deal at its inception and then help guide it through to completion, observing and acting upon the unique aspects of every stage of the engagement and savoring the end reward of helping a client reach their desired objective.

Andrew’s real estate work entails drafting lease agreements and representing clients on zoning matters and appeals, property tax matters and administrative law issues, including successfully completing an appeal to the township zoning board of appeals.

With excellent organizational skills and an in-depth understanding of the arc of transactions, Andrew adeptly keeps tabs on many moving parts over long periods of time. He frequently identifies crucial pieces of information that should be included in documents. In zoning board-related real estate matters, as well, Andrew makes sure to check every box necessary in the often complicated processes.

Andrew’s longtime interest in business informs his current practice. While attending law school, he was a student attorney in the Entrepreneurship Clinic, where he assisted student-led startups with entity formation, financing and worker classification issues.
