I enjoy the subtleties of the practice, and the strategic and creative aspects of digging into the facts and the law. Warner’s litigation team helps clients reach the solution that works best for <em>them </em>– always factoring in their unique needs and circumstances.

Jarrod Trombley focuses his practice on commercial litigation, including those disputes arising between businesses, among business owners, as well as in higher education, employment and real estate. He has experience in resolving contractual disputes, fraudulent transfer claims, shareholder oppression cases, internal business disputes, and conflicts involving upper management and LLC or corporate owners, as well as issues arising from business breakups or winddowns. He has also assisted with employment disputes related to noncompete, nondisclosure and non-solicitation clauses, and various employment and real estate disputes and issues arising as a result of the pandemic.

A former archaeologist before beginning his legal career, Jarrod sees a direct through-line connecting both professions. “In archaeology, you’re looking at the facts – or, in this case, artifacts – that remain and coaxing them to tell you their story, so that you can develop a theory. In law, you take the available facts and use them in a way that best support’s your client’s position.”

Jarrod is a skillful and extremely analytic researcher, who also lends an important dose of emotional intelligence. He understands that, in order to resolve a dispute, you must focus less on rigid “rights” and “wrongs” and more on how to get each side what it really needs to move forward.
