The patent practitioners in Warner's Intellectual Property group have the legal expertise, technical background and business acumen that companies need to develop, license, protect and fully utilize their innovations on a global scale. The patent team has deep bench strength with 15 full-time registered patent attorneys and patent agents. All of our patent practitioners have technical undergraduate degrees, and some additionally have postgraduate technical degrees. Many of them have prior work experience as engineers and specialists within their respective fields. Consequently, our patent team understands and appreciates the technical considerations and practicalities of patent issues.

With some clients, the business model is not working and we can reinvigorate the business by helping them to transition to an IP-centered business model.

Our patent practitioners strategically and creatively prepare and prosecute patent applications in the United States and throughout the world. We draft patent applications with an eye toward various requirements and strategies in the United States and abroad to maximize international rights and efficiencies associated with pursuing global protection. We prosecute patent applications via extensive interaction with the patent examiners in the respective patent offices and throughout the world.
