Navigating the Wave of Supply Chain Challenges ─&nbsp;Michael Brady, Partner and Co-chair of the Automotive Industry Group Michael will share best practices and strategies for dealing with the ongoing supply chain strains. Topics include seeking and responding to price increase demands, addressing component and raw material shortages, shipping issues, commercial impracticability claims, volume shortages, ever-changing production schedules and preliminary injunction threats.

Workforce Challenges ─&nbsp;Zainab Hazimi, Associate Zainab will address the mounting challenges for employers and HR professionals as their personnel return to in-person work, and the implications of workplace safety, vaccine mandates and employee leave issues.&nbsp;Zainab will round out the discussion with an overview of recent employment litigation trends.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Dealing With a Financially Distressed Supply Chain ─&nbsp;Dennis Loughlin, Partner Trying to manage unprofitable contracts, cash-flow issues, lower volumes, pricing pressures and overall increased distress are at an all-time high. Dennis will address the current tension that exists navigating these issues and how they may play out under accommodation agreements, bankruptcies and other insolvency scenarios.

Protecting Your Confidential Information ─&nbsp;Randy Peck, Partner Significant advancements in automotive technology continue to relate to intangible software and controls, and in view of increasingly transient work forces, it’s increasingly important to maintain best practices with respect to intellectual property protection. Randy will discuss best practices for protecting intellectual property along with related trends for enforcement.&nbsp;
